Alles heeft zijn eigen element, en als je bent in de omgeving die het beste past bij jou element dan ben je dus in je ‘element’. Zo is een adelaar in de lucht in zijn element, een dolfijn in het water en een worm in de aarde.
Tegenwoordig verwijst het naar de situatie waarin jij je op gemak voelt. Je als het ware thuis voelt, en je ware ‘ik’ volledig in zijn/haar recht komt en straalt als de zon! Voor mij is dat buiten, het liefst in een omgeving waar alle elementen bij elkaar komen.
