This is heartbreaking 💔 3-year-old Maddie spent 400 days in shelters before she was finally adopted last year 🙏 Sadly, her adopter became ill and can no longer care for her 😔 Now, Maddie is back at our shelter and doesn’t know what has happened? 🥺 Marvelous Maddie is a friendly girl who loves to be petted. Her former owner did tell us what a wonderful companion she is. She calls her a sweetheart that approaches everyone with tail wags and gives them kisses ❤️ She gets along very well with people, kids and other dogs, but they said she’s only ok with cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. She would love to have a family that will take her for exploration walks, and just love her for the rest of her life! 🙏 Maddie had a chance to go on a Dog’s Day Out with one of our wonderful volunteers. They reported that she did really well! She was calm in the car and very sweet. She did not pull on her leash and was very gentle. She saw other dogs and ignored them. All in all, she had a GREAT day!
