NL (English below): Ik ben een psycholoog en werk met sprookjes. Haha zij gelooft in sprookjes… I know, klinkt apart, en weet je DEELS zeker waar! Wat vele van jullie niet weten is dat het sprookje nooit als entertainment bedoeld is. Het sprookje -alsook vele folklore verhalen en mythes- bevatten waarheden die gelezen worden door ons onbewuste. Een plek waar veel van onze problemen en uitdagingen zich bevinden. Voor ons onbewuste is namelijk alles realiteit en het staat nooit uit. Zelfs tijdens dromen en bijv. onder narcose is deze vorm van bewustzijn nog altijd actief. En dit is precies waar ze zich vroeger van bewust waren. Het sprookje is dus meer dan een moreel verhaal, het kan gebruikt worden als tool de diepte van jou onbewuste in. Het is een prachtige methode die jou kan helpen het pad richting je ware ‘zelf‘ te lopen en weer bewust te worden van wie je werkelijk bent. NL (English below): Wat is waarheid en wat is een leugen. Is elke waarheid niet een illusie? Een subjectieve mening die zo vaak is herhaald dat het een collectieve waarheid is geworden. Afgelopen nacht zijn wij weer thuisgekomen na een prachtige vakantie op Sao Miguel. In het vliegtuig is over het algemeen heerlijk stil bij zo’n avondvlucht. Er zijn wat mensen die zachtjes praten, opgelichte schermpjes van mensen die een film kijken en wat mensen waarbij het leeslampje aanstaat, die heerlijk wegzinken in verhalen. Onder de laatste categorie hoor ik. Afgelopen vlucht bevond ik mij in de gedachtengang van Nietzsche. Als taalkundig filosoof stelt hij dat aan elk woord wij -als mens- zelf betekenis hebben gegeven. Waarbij niet alleen de originele betekenis zo ver van de gemaakte betekenis ligt, maar ook een geheel andere waarheid is geworden. Is de waarheid dan gelijk aan de leugen. Geïnspireerd door Pascal’s Pensées (6, 1623-1662) zo stelt Nietzsche dat waarheid enkel subjectief is. Als men de gehele nacht in zijn droom zou beleven dat hij/zij een beroemd artiest was, zou de droom als realiteit voelen, en daarmee net zo hard waarheid zijn als de avonturen van de momenten dat hij/zij wakker was. Hiermee wil ik zeggen, laten we elkaars waarheid respectvol behandelen, luisteren naar elkaar, zonder daar direct een oordeel over te hebben.
